HI, I recently re-married to my soul-mate, we have 4 children from previous marriage, 2 from his and 2 from mine, But now we are together and would like a baby of our own. I had my tubes tied. I had the rubber band around them and I would like to get the reversal done. I do have insurance, but I see that you do not take the insurance, I cannot afford to pay the required amount that you need before the surgery. I don’t know what I can do? I dont see any good Dr.’s in my area. and don’t mind driving to North Carolina to Dr. Berger, But I cannot afford the cost of the surgery. Is there any help that you can give me? I am confused and discouraged that I might not get the opportunity to have a child due to the cost. Any suggestions?

We are in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. My wife and i have been married for 3 years. I don’t have any kids and she has agreed to have one. She has had her tubes tied, but she can’t remember if they are just tied or clipped. What are my options and can joy of a kid be brought into my life? I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi,
I am interested in having a tubal ligation reversal but I can not seem to find a way to finance. Due to my credit, I do not think that I would be eligible for financial programs and I desperately want my tubes reversed. I recently got married to the love of my life and I just do not know what do you. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi, my name is Debra Taylor. I came to America where I met my husband. We got married. I got pregnant and had my baby. My husband told me I had to tie my tubes because he did not want any more children. I also have three other kids but not know he was being abusive. I tied my tubes. He became more and more abusive until I had to leave him. Today we are divorced and I want another child and my tubes are tied. This is so fustrating and it hurts so much. I met this really nice guy and he wants a child and I can’t because my abusive husband made me tie them . I feel like a part of me died and he took something so big from me I cry and cry when I think of what he did.

Hi Andrenia. It sounds like you’ve had a ligation and resection. In most cases, pregnancy rates following a ligation and resection procedure and subsequent reversal surgery are high. This is an outpatient procedure so you will not have hospital charges. You are, however, required to stay at the Sheraton of Chapel Hill for two nights. There is a reduced rated for Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith’s patients. The reduced fee for Dr. Berger is $5,900 and for Dr. Monteith $4,900. My tubes were clipped and tied. I have four children and my youngest is 9yrs. old. My husband and I do not have any biological kids together. I would like to know the cost of the procedure. Is there an option for out patient surgery that would cut or eliminate cost for hospital stay.
