A Sad Day: Last Surgery Done At Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center

(Raleigh, NC) On Thursday, December 19th 2013 Dr. Monteith performed the last three tubal reversal surgeries at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center located at 109 Conner Drive. The center has been in existence since 1982 and over 10,000 women have had surgery for tubal blockage at the Chapel Hill location. On the last day of surgery three procedures were performed. Two tubal reversal surgeries were performed and one Essure removal was performed.

The first ever successful Essure reversal surgery was performed at the center and it is therefore fitting that the last surgery every performed was also an Essure surgery. The center has been the site of many successful surgeries and has helped many women and couples overcome infertility from tubal ligation and tubal blockage.

The center officially closes it doors on Friday, December 20th moves to a new location and reopen for business on Monday, December 23rd 2013. The newly created facility will be located at 3613 Haworth Drive in Raleigh North Carolina. The holidays will be a time of staff training and reorganization and the first surgery in the new location will be performed in January of 2014. Stay tuned to the centers website for important updated and changes because many more are planned for the upcoming year.
